Departure
from Tórshavn at 18:00 hours. On Your arrival to Nólsoy at
18:20, you will be met at the harbour by the ornithologist
Jens-Kjeld Jensen. He
will give a short introduction to the village and take you to
the coffee shop "Kaffistovan", where you are staying.
You are then free to roam and explore the village. Please keep to
recognisable footpaths, if going beyond the village.

1 hour before sunset Jens-Kjeld will guide you to the largest
known Storm petrel colony.
|
It
is 1 hour of walking to the colony, where at close range you will
be able to see these mysterious nightbirds.
You will simultaneously have the opportunity to observe other
birds: Puffins, Fulmars etc.
Duration of the stay at the colony, 1-1½ hour, may depend on the
weather. Upon return, coffee or tea will be provided (included in
the price).
